Bill Potter, has been described as a motivator, innovator, creator, facilitator and agitator. He first created the outline for… The PPM* Course (A different journey), on September 11 2010, to provide innovative personal empowerment, lifestyle and workplace strategies for those terrific individuals who… don’t seem to be having a terrific time right now.

He inspires people to… ‘laugh as they learn, thrive as they think and cheer as they change’. He was formerly, Executive Director at Junior Chamber International world headquarters in Miami, Florida. He has held corporate leadership portfolios in two countries. He was also, an army officer.

His funny, first Business book, Mind Your Own Damn Business! (1999), was described as, ‘having a go-getter approach that provides a healthy antidote to the jargon-riddled academic tomes, that often pass for management books’. It was chosen in a Top Five list, for ‘new millennium’ reading. Bill is a Business Maverick, FriendCoach*, Motivational Speaker, Blogger, Author  and 3Guy.

He refereed a final at the inaugural Touch Football World Cup, and has been an international Rugby referee. He was awarded the Most Outstanding Past Member of the World Award and the Camara Junior de Colombia Medal, from Junior Chamber International, a worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs.

He is Fellow #001 of the JCI Training Institute, St Louis, Missouri, a structure that he initiated and helped develop, in the early 1990s. UNICEF recognised the programme he led during the 1979 U.N. International Year of the Child, which directly reached 12.5 million children globally, as ‘the best NGO effort in the world’.

Bill is the proud father of three terrific children. He has completed a 10,000 feet skydive; a 1000 feet helicopter bungy jump; survived a 110 kph car accident; led fund-raising marches through Berlin, Osaka and Seoul, and recalled a departing commercial jetliner, after it had left the gate. He was an ‘accidental’ bodyguard to a king; has met heads of state, business leaders, royalty, sports champions; kissed Miss World and had a private interview with Mother Teresa, amongst many Me-Highs. Otherwise, he has led a quiet and desperately uneventful life! He likes to laugh… a lot.

There are few genuine mavericks, who consistently see the unconventional and alternative to the ‘norm’ or the ‘usual’, that converts into a ‘Sustainable Edge of Advantage‘ (SEA)©. Bill is such a Maverick! He promotes… Peopleness, nurtured innovation and focused passion, as the core ingredients that will triumph in our turbulent, impersonal, techno-rampant world.
